Across the province, thousands of residents are Participating in the Ontario Power Authority's microFiT program, generating clean renewable electricity that can then be sold back into the grid.
Among the community engaged in the program, are hundreds of individuals who belong to the AGRIS Solar Co-operative, a farmer-owned solar energy Co operative that provides a turn-key solution to participate in the microFiT program and start generating profits

Who is eligible to participate?
- Any Ontario farmer or rural landowner who has a property where a Solar Generator can be installed is eligible within the microFiT Program
Who controls AGRIS Solar?
- AGRIS Solar is 100% owned by farmers and rural landowners
- Members elect a Board of Directors to govern the Co-operative for the benefit of the Program
- AGRIS Solar is managed under contract by Spark Solar
