AGRIS Solar Garden
What is an AGRIS Solar Garden?
Under the directive of the Minister of Energy, 50 10 kW ground-mounted Constrained Projects may be moved to a Solar Garden where utility capacity exists. These gardens will consist of a 10 acre Class 4 piece of property, supplying 500 kW of power each.
AGRIS Solar is currently securing lands to house these gardens. All costs, such as management, installation, insurance, maintenance and warranty are managed by AGRIS Solar Co-operative during the 20-year contract term.
The AGRIS Solar Garden
Much like the photo above, an AGRIS Solar Garden will contain 50 constrained microFit projects generating a nameplate capacity of 500 kW.
